Another comic book cover parody

For this parody I used an old character, Monsterman, that I developed in the 1970's. He was created as part of a How To Draw Monsters book for kids that was sold through ads that I ran in comic books. The book was not a big seller, I usually just made enough to pay for the ads. But it was a fun project and it started me on my venture of writing several instructional art books for Watson- Guptill Publishing. The books are now out of print, but can be found in used book stores as well as on the internet in sites such as Amazon.com. One of my books, Pen and Pencil Drawing Techniques, has been reprinted by Dover Publications and is still available. MonsterComix
