Sculpture under construction
I went to Liberty Steel Fabricating yesterday to see how the work is going on my outdoor sculpture. They are progressing nicely and will soon have the piece finished and the sculpture should be erected sometime in April. It will be located at Sawyer Road and the Red Arrow Highway right near to where I live. This is what the finished piece will look like.

Nash Rambler ad
A good friend of mine, Tom Clarke, sent me an ad that I did the art on in 1965 when he was Art Director on the account. At the time I was specializing in ink line art and was keeping very busy from Detroit and New York clients.

This painting of 23rd Street and 7th Avenue in New York City was done on a Mac computer using the Painter program. This is a great way to practice and develop your computer skills. It does help if you've had some experience doing traditional watercolor or acrylic paintings.

New Digital Sketch
Another color sketch done on the computer. I may base an acrylic painting on this study, it's an interesting design.
