On Saturday, September 4th, 7 through 10 PM, the Scarlet Macaw Community Art Center in Sawyer, Michigan is having an opening for their exhibition "Going, going, GONE", which runs through to October 3rd. Artists are submitting work that demonstrates any sort of change, deterioration or losses within our physical environment. If you happen to be in the area, check it out. Also, any artists within 75 miles of the Southwestern Michigan region can enter, but the deadline for entries is tonight at 8:00 PM. For more information, contact Niffee at 269.426.8226.
I altered one of my photomontages for this exhibition, having a little fun with the subject of the show.
I also entered my photo "Cat on a fence" in which only the cat's tail is barely visible.
