More digital images
Here are a few more images created on the computer. I'm working on some new promotion brochures and am experimenting with new styles and techniques. A self portrait is included as well as an older image mimicking a Dali painting. It always amazes me what can be accomplished on the computer, and it's fun experimenting with this new medium.

More multiple digital images
The first image is an illustration that I created in Photoshop Elements 3. The other images are some other variations that I tried, using various color schemes and design shapes. Doing art digitally allows an artist to do several versions of the same image for evaluation purposes easily. If you are an artist that works on the computer I encourage you to try this method, it's a great learning process, as I've said many times.

The advantage of working digitally
One of the main benefits of doing art on the computer is that one can easily create several different versions of the same image for evaluation. Trying to accomplish this using traditional mediums is very difficult and time consuming. An added value is that the ability to do different versions of a specific image can be part of a learning, growing experience which can enhance an artist's creative ability. Posted here are two sets of images in which I have created different color versions. These were all done using Photoshop Elements 3.

New digital figure studies
I have been working on a series of new figure studies based on ink line drawings. I first scan in the line art, then manipulate the drawings, then add the color using Photoshop Elements 3. It's a fun technique to experiment with. These will be on display at the Scarlet Macaw Community Art Center in Sawyer, MI. If you are in the area, stop by, several artist are on display.
