I the late 1860's I was doing a lot of illustration work, here are some examples from the 1969 Plymouth catalog. This was probably one of the last automotive catalogs to use illustration as photography was taking over.

While my house was being built I lived at my step daughter's farm. One of the barn cats used to climb the tree outside my studio area and watch me do illustrations and design work. I recently added the red spheres. If I remember correctly, her name was Marsha.
A few days ago work was started for the base of my metal sculpture, which will be located at Sawyer Road and the Red Arrow Highway. After the cement is thoroughly dry, the sculpture will be mounted, perhaps in a week.
I had a bad bout with the gout and could not climb the stairs to my studio and was unable to post for a couple of days. Things are better now as Gloria came over and nursed me back to fairly normal.
Probably have to cut down on the wine. I first got the gout while living in France and enjoying their fine wines.
